Learn the basics about snow and avalanche terrain to be able to go on your own ski touring trips safely. This course lasts 2 days and is mainly outdoors. 

This course lasts for 2 days and requires no prior knowledge other than being able to safely ascend and descend on skis or splitboard. The goal of the course is to provide you with a thorough introduction to what traveling in or near avalanche terrain entails. If you wish to learn the basics of snow avalanches, avalanche terrain, companion rescue, and the use of avalanche forecasts, this course is for you!

For: Those who use ski touring, telemark skiing, or splitboarding

Where: Bodø or upon request

Group: 4-6 per guide

Price: Weekend: 3000 NOK per person. Requires a minimum of 4 participants
